Ilu Toolbox: forging diverse, inclusive and equal businesses

The Ilu toolbox aims to help address the gender gaps that exist within companies. Promoting gender equality in job markets is not only the right thing to do, it is also the smart thing to do, for governments and companies alike. This resource is available to all companies interested in taking advantage of the potential of gender equality to improve their competitiveness, their market value and its work environment, as well as becoming key actors to achieve an equal and inclusive society we all dream of.

The toolbox is divided into four gender lenses that will help companies implement different strategies to advance gender equality.

Roadmap to a gender equality strategy

Self-Assessment

Before using the tools, we encourage you to take a self-assessment that will help you evaluate your company’s gender approach strategies. The self-assessment is made up of a series of questions that allow companies to examine themselves and obtain a description of their situation at three levels (basic, intermediate and advanced) regarding the implementation of practices to incorporate the gender approach in internal and external operations. Based on the results and with the support of tools specially designed to address the four lenses, the company will be able to prioritize the design and implementation of its strategies in favor of equality.

Lens 1 : Women in Leadership

Lens 1. Women in Leadership

This lens addresses the presence of women in leadership positions and helps companies to adopt an inclusive governance approach with a gender perspective. Lens 1. helps companies to implement better policies and programs that promote gender equality and close gaps, as well as assess their diversity and inclusion.

Lens 2. Equality in the Workplace

This lens presents actions in favor of equal opportunities and treatment to make the workplace more egalitarian. With the help of this approach, you can improve your company’s work environment through the implementation of strategies that promote the participation of women at all levels and areas of the organization, equal pay, work-family balance and to conduct analysis of possible inequality gaps within the company.
